An unbelievable week of walking the infamous last stretch of the Camino de Santiago (115km), but with a twist! You know we always like to mix it up a bit 😉. You have the option of spending the last two nights soaking up the culture in Santiago de Compostela OR relocating to a world class wellness resort to literally soak. We are divils for a spa break, and what better time to sit back and relax than after walking for five days straight?

    There is nothing quite like a multi-day trek with like-minded souls, and none more famous than the Camino de Santiago. We’ll walk the final stretch, collecting passport stamps along the route, finally earning us our very own coveted “Compostela” certificate!

    If ever there was a time you deserved a spa break, its now! And girl, this resort is not messing around. Countless picturesque indoor and outdoor pools and wellness facilities. Pool bars, spa facilities, unbelievable food...and right next to the beach!

5 days walk from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela

Often viewed as one of the most historic routes. We’ll walk through many varied landscapes, through the region of Galicia in Northern Spain to Santiago. staying in a combination of local 2 and 3 star hotels. We’ll finish up in the ancient city of Santiago de Compostela at the cathedral!

OPTION 01

If you’re looking for some deep relaxation post-walk, then we have you covered! After spending some time soaking in Santiago de Compostela, we’ll board a bus to our 4* home for the next two nights. The Augusta Eco Wellness Resort is the largest and most complete Spa centre in Galicia.

More than 25,000 m2 entirely dedicated to Relaxation, Well-being, Nature and the Culture of Water. Located in the heart of the Rías Baixas, 600m from the famous beach of Silgar.

2 days in the beautiful Santiago de Compostela

OPTION 02

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the history and culture, then why not stay in Santiago de Compostela. With its Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque buildings, the Old Town of Santiago is one of the world's most beautiful urban areas. And we hear the food is pretty amazing too! Spend your last two days in this beautiful city, visit the market town, Plaza de Abastos or one of its many museums.

  • Host (Ali Milne) for the entire trip and local guide for the duration of the camino

  • 5 Nights Hotel accommodation with private facilities, mix of 2 and 3* local hotels

  • 2 Nights in Pontevedra (Augusta Eco Wellness Resort) and access to the spa – Option 01

Total Cost (pp):

  • Option 01 - Camino + Spa: €1,130 (Limited Spaces)

  • Option 02 – Camino + Santiago: €940

A €250 deposit is required to secure your place.

The balance can be paid in full or in two installments.

Once you submit your application to join, we’ll contact you within 24 hours to let you know if a spot is yours. Once we confirm, you can pay the deposit to secure your place.

  • Cancellations

    Deposits are non-refundable.

    60 – 30 days before travel = 50% cancellation charges

    30-15 days before travel 75% cancellation charges

    Inside 14 days 100% cancellation charges: NO REFUND.

    The cancellation will only be effective from the date that the cancellation is received in writing by email.

    Travel Insurance

    Travel insurance is mandatory for this trip. One that covers trip cancellations is recommended in the event that something should happen to you that prevents you from travelling, you will get reimbursed from your insurance company.`

  • This is an active trip that includes multiple days walking. But this is a holiday. If you want to sit a day of walking out and get a taxi to the hotel that’s completely fine!

  • From Dublin the flight we’ll be getting is the Aer Lingus flight to Santiago. This is so we can all get the same coach transfer. If you’re comig from another country just let me know and can discuss a good arrival time for the coach.
